Description	The ground-breaking ceremony for new premises to house the Caribbean Food and Nutrition Institute (CFNI) took place on Wednesday, March 21, 1984 at 3:00 p.m. Dr. Kenneth Baugh, Minister of Health (far right) is seen relaxing after breaking ground for the new CFNNI premises while UWI Vice Chancellor, Dr. A. Z. Preston, CFNI Director, Dr. Wynante Patterson and the Rev. Mr. C. Evans-Bailey, Jamaica Council of Churches, confer on the matter. Land for the new premises was provided by the University in keeping with a commitment made when the CFNI was established in 1969 to provide suitable accommodation to house the Institute and later, to provide the land necessary to erect a permanent structure.
